- Per-transaction limit is fundamentally similar to card spend limit:
- Per-transaction limit is intended for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance purposes.
- Card spend limit is to simply limit a card spend, and are generally imposed by either issuing groups or cardholder themselves.
- When a card has an active custom per-transaction limit, the highest between it and the issuing group's default per-transaction limit will be prioritized.
- All other spending limit and checks, such as card spend limit will remain enforced.
- For
currency = USD, maximum amount is80,000.00 - For
currency = SGD, maximum amount is100,000.00 - Only one active custom per-transaction limit per card at a time per 30 days from its last
active_at. This rule will be ignored for permanent per-transaction limit requests. - Upon successful request, limit activates immediately, and auto-expires after
duration_in_days*24 hours, or stays permanently if configured with one of permanent intents. - The following intent values are only available for trusted card programs:
ACCREDITED_INVESTOR,VIP,VVIP, andTRUSTED_CUSTOMER. When selected, a permanent per-transaction limit will be created for the card.- Please contact an integration engineer if you'd like to discover this program.
