Reissue a card with expiry date updated.
Only the expiry date and CVV will be refreshed during reissuance. All other card attributes remain unchanged.
The new expiry date will be set to five (5) years from the time the API call is made.

Retrieving recent requests… | |||
The moment the Reissue Card API is called, the existing card is immediately deactivated. The cardholder will no longer be able to use the old physical card for any purchases, whether in-store or online.
What the cardholder needs to do after reissue:
Physical card:
The cardholder must wait to receive the new physical card. Once received, they will need to:
- Activate the new card before it can be used.
- Set a new PIN.
Virtual card:
No physical card delivery is required. The new card details (updated expiry date and new CVV) are immediately available via the card details API. The card is deactivated at the moment of reissue, but the merchant can activate it immediately after reissue without any action required from the cardholder.
Tokenization
Existing Apple Pay and Google Pay tokens are automatically updated with the new expiry date. The cardholder does not need to remove and re-add their card in their digital wallet. Payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay will continue to work seamlessly after the card is reactivated.
