| 3DS | 3-D Secure is an XML-based protocol which adds an additional security layer to online credit card payments. It is the protocol that powers the implementation of asking you to input an OTP on a webpage with your bank name when you purchase something online using your credit card. |
| BIN | Bank Identification Number is a unique identifier used to identify the issuing institution of card. It is the first four to six numbers that appear on a card and is used to tie the issuer to all the cards it issues and all the transactions on those cards |
| CVV | Card Verification Value serving as a security feature for transactions where the card is not physically presented, such as online purchases. |
| PIN | Personal Identification Number. It is a code that cardholders use to verify their identity and authorize transactions. |
