No, the verification status will just be "rejected".

5. If the bank account is rejected, is resubmission supported?

You may resubmit another bank account application with the correct details.

6. How long will it take between the user making the deposit and bank account being verified so that the user can make withdrawals?

It will be near-instant once the first deposit is completed.
